Digital tumbleweed is a form of unused data that is manifested as a literal, static-filled tumbleweed. It is first seen in the Digimon Tamers series when the Tamers' group crosses into the Digital World to save Calumon; it is seen as a symbol of the desolation in the more deserted, windy areas of the Digital World that was caused by fairly recent natural disasters.
