Egan was a Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps and also the one responsible for killing her husband, Commander Thomas Egan, simply because she had discovered that he had been having an affair with one of his colleagues, Lauren Tyler. She was presumably arrested and jailed for killing her husband.
