Ahead of its time during the final stage of development the Eclipse entered the construction stage as Wild Star's first revolutionary craft. Designed originally to be a capital class vessel that could make quick strikes it was designed to be versatile yet fast in its objectives. It soon became evident however that the Eclipse was just as effective, if not more so during drawn out engagements where it could fully utilize its advantages.
