Gigatron began life as an Autobot protoform who was built into a Cybertronian styled body by the Quintessons. He later lived on Cybertron and fought during the Revolutionary War between the Predacon Megatron and Optimus Primal. After the end of the war, Gigatron evaded capture and srtole several Autobot protoforms, which he then reformatted as Predacons and fled from Cybertron, spending three years wandering deep space before he entered a time pocket above Earth and transported back to the time between the Machine and Beast Wars. Now a six-changer, Gigatron set out to terrorize Earth with his Predacons. However, a team of Autobots lead by Rodimus Prime then arrived on Earth to combat him.
