The below document is intended as a true history of the world known as Gaia, albeit not a detailed one. It is intended to give a background and history of the three Aeld races as well as were and how they fit in with the races of man. It is suggested that the Aeld are biological and physically adapted to use Gaia's arcane powers. The races of man do not possess these attributes in general, but as the Aeld blood inevitably mingled with man's, it is likely some of their descendants manifested an affinity or ability to use magic.
