It was a beautiful day until I received yet another visit from an indignant Maormer captain. Apparently, padding the docking fee half of what I used to is grounds for deep offense. For a moment I thought she might become violent! I handed over my last bottle of Old Colovian Plum Brandy to smooth things over. These Maormer seem to be more and more demanding lately. What good is that treaty, anyway? It wasn't always this difficult to take an honest cut!
