The Phalanx Shutter Shield is the most powerful planetary shield generator in the galaxy. It's power output, range, and efficiency are unmatched. The unit itself looks much like a sports stadium, ovoid and squat. For defense, the generator has limited shields, but the primary defense is the 5-meter thick layer of Class A ablative armor. The superdense material allows the generator to take a considerable pounding before being knocked out of action.
