Journey to the Cross-roads is the seventh chapter of the second book of The Two Towers. * VII - Journey to the Cross-roads - Frodo, Sam and Gollum leave Faramir and depart from Ithilien. They travel to the crossroad of the road east between Osgiliath and Minas Morgul, and the north-south road from the Black Gate to the southlands.
