The FPS module (First-person shooter module) is the mode of Arena Commander that will involve ground and zero-g combat with an assortment of weapons and gadgets. One map revealed in the 2014 PAX Australia FPS demo named the Gold Horizon Station, takes place on a decrepit space station in which one team occupies the station while the other boards it from an Aegis Redeemer. The second map revealed called the Astro Arena, will take place in a literal sphere made of glass with various obstacles placed within it, slightly resembling the Ender's Game training sphere.
