The Armoured Battalion is the manpower behind your armoured fighting vehicles. Each Armoured Battalion can be equipped with up to 58 Tanks, and up to 30 other armoured/support vehicles. AFVs remain integral on the modern battlefield, despite the evolution of asymmetrical warfare. It takes a few weeks to transfer tanks and their supporting equipment by air or sea, and tanks still require frequent maintenance. Armoured warfare is mechanically and logistically intensive and requires extensive support mechanisms.
