In the United Democracy of Mikuni-Hulstria, the leader of the Opposition is the leader of the largest party out of government. Elections for the senate are held every four years unless a majority of members vote for an earlier election, these elections help also decide who becomes or remains the leader of the Opposition. The post was first used following the Mikuni-Hulstria General Election 4021 once more than one party managed to attain seats in the Senate.
