The Duke of Darling (played by Tim McInnerny) was the aide to the Duke of Wellington during the Battle of Waterloo in the Blackadder Special, Blackadder: Back and Forth. When Edmund drops by to with the Duke of Wellington good luck, he says hello to Darling as he is leaving. Darling looks bemused and confused as he doesn't know who Blackadder is.
