A Fūinjutsu that is established through physical contact, when it is implemented on an opponent it gradually lessens their ability to move. The aim of the seal is to apply as many as possible in succession onto the victim, with each one exponentially increasing its influence. Normally, the seals' effect comes in stages that may fluctuate depending on the victim's chakra levels, shown when the prisoners at Kumogakure could be subdued with only a single seal while a shinobi of legendary proportions would probably require double the amount of seals for them to have any effect.
