Barry Setterfield was born on April 15, 1942. He is a young earth creationist from Australia. For six years, he was a lecturer for the Astronomical Society of South Australia. Setterfield was one of the pioneers to suggest the speed of light has changed. His paper, Atomic Constants, Light, and Time was written for Flinders University. It set off a discussion and a controversy about the speed of light.
