Gottlieb Stutzman (b. 1994) was the son of Esther and Walther Stutzman and the older brother of Anna. His whole family were secret Jews living in Berlin. Gottlieb was present when Alicia Gimpel's parents told her she was Jewish, as he had been told on his tenth birthday. An adolescent, Gottlieb was a member of the Hitler Jugend. Consequently, he was not able to witness or participate first-hand in the changes that came with the ascension of Führer Heinz Buckliger.
