Warren Beatty (born Henry Warren Beatty in 1937) is an American actor and director. Beatty directed and starred in the 1990 Dick Tracy feature film. He subsequently produced the Dick Tracy Special for television in 2010, where he appeared as the character again. Beatty's production company retains the film rights to Dick Tracy, which is one of the factors that has resulted in a sequel not yet being produced.
