Aaron Perry is a Professor of Economics at Salve Regina University in Newport. He was elected the 2nd Governor of Newport in 2058, after a wave of anti-Nationalist sentiment due to the Richard's Rebellion in 2057. He ran on a platform of sound economic policy, and his teaching experience gave him the credentials to do so. His opponent was the incumbent Tim Cooper a Nationalist sailing captain.
