The Encyclopedia Creaturica was a community website that was intended to act as a reference to Creatures information (similar to the Creatures Wiki). Unlike the Wiki it used hand-written software, including various features such as a forum. However, it was developed in secret, and the Creatures Wiki started first and gained all the attention. Eventually, the developers decided that it was not worth continuing, as the site's main purpose was fulfilled by the Creatures Wiki.
