The Ashi-kyu was a symmetrical bow as long as a Daikyu but much more powerful. It designed to be fired at stationary formations or large targets. To fire it the archer lied his back, braced the bow with both feet, and backed on the bowstring with his arms. It was used by the Unicorn in sieges or against slow-moving or disorganized armies such as Goblin Mobs.
