The Second Birth was an event in Yevetha history, from after the Galactic Empire left N'zoth in 5 ABY. Prior to the Empire's arrival, the Yevetha had settled eleven colony worlds using slower than light technology. After the Empire's withdrawal, the Yevetha were left with hyperdrive and hypercomm technology. This enabled them to engage in the Second Birth, in which they rapidly colonized an additional dozen worlds.
