The college student organization, Hillel, is a multi-denominational group that support young Jews as they grow into adult roles. Hillel is also the name of several well-known and influential rabbis. The most famous of whom is probably "Hillel the Elder, also Hillel the Babylonian (end of first century BCE to beginning of first century CE). This Hillel is considered the greatest sage of the Second Temple period."
