Kitsune Dairuko was a courtier of the Mantis Clan. Born without the shugenja's gift, she was trained in the Yoritomo Courtier school. She moved to the Colonies a few years after her gempukku and opened the Forest's Bounty, a medicinal herbalist shop located in the Merchant District of the Second City. The reputation of her selection even drew physicians and herbalists. Dairuko also attracted the attention of Scorpion agents who asked her to supply them with certain herbs of a more dangerous nature.
