The Gobstones Tournament is an internation competition of Gobstones. In 1999, the Welsh National Gobstones Team defeated the Hungarian national side in this tournament. The Daily Prophet failed to cover the competition, however, prompting an irate letter from Grugwyn Rufford of the Welsh team. The editor replied to him via an editorial saying that people found that Gobstones were "deeply boring". Kevin Hopwood is the current Gobstones World Champion.
