Nhat Tram was a native of Venezia and a member of the independent planet's burgeoning armed forces. A fervent believer in colonial independence, she was active in secessionist activities from a young age and volunteered for military service after Venezia declared its independence from the United Earth Government. She was eventually given a leadership role within the militia and was often tasked with patrolling Venezia's sprawling plains. Tram was dismayed to see the Syndicate and other criminal groups gradually seizing power on the planet, particularly when she and her fellow soldiers were used as Syndicate enforcers by corrupt superiors. Nevertheless, Tram continued to carry out her duties in the hopes that she could still make a difference in the lives of everyday Venezians.
