Maharajah Ranjit Singh (Punjabi: ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ), (Gregorian date: 13 November 1780 - 27 June 1852, Nanakshahi date: 30 Katak 312 - 13 Harh 390) was the founder and first Maharajah of the Sikh Kingdom of Khalistan, which came to power in India in the early half of the 19th century.
