A Marked of Kane was formed after two decades of heavy fighting in the Second Tiberium War which ravaged America, England, Greece, Egypt, Libya and other countries that were marked as missions under the GDI High Command and Brotherhood of Nod insurgents. One civilian says his report to Mike Vanderhaven when GDI Commanders were attacked by these ferocious machines. He says that the ground opened, came out these monsters like man (well, machine), he hid somewhere safe as the enemy didn't see him but his village was in ruins. When he says about the village, it was flash cut to Mike Vanderhaven.
