The Ishvaak Clan is one of the five major clans which form the Grand Council of Chieftains, the governing body which rules over the New Armes Kingdom. Known as a moderate clan, the Ishvaak Clan holds political clout as it is the clan of original New Armes King, Halad. However, with the failure of the Darja Clan's policies, such as an alliance with the House of Godwin during the Falenan Civil War and aid from moderate clans such as the Madra Clan, the Ishvaak Clan's influence rose again following the Falenan Civil War.
