Kasherov was a radical Neo-Communist writer in the Russian Consortium, on Earth. His radical ideas, while popular with young teenagers, brought scorn from older scholars such as Andrei Ivanov who believed that Kasherov's ideas would responsible for the destruction of Russia culture. Susan Ivanova was an admirer of him as a child.
