Bernadette Adducci was policewoman and social worker in Grantville. Before those lines of work, Adducci had been a nun, part of Daughters of Charity when she was 20 years old and left at 33 because it wasn't challenging enough. She was aunt of Tony Adducci, Jr. In 1634, Bernadette provided a diplomatic conduit to aid the escape of Maria Anna from Maximilian I to the arms of Cardinal-Infante Ferdinand, the ruler of the Netherlands.
