Davenesh was a settlement on Bajor. Altek Dans and his family moved to Davenesh when he was young. After Altek was sent to Deep Space 9 in 2385, Ro Laren's staff were unable to confirm the existence of Davenesh. (DS9 novel: Ascendance)
