Unlike the other Supreme Kais in his universe, the Grand Supreme Kai didn't try to help stop Armazon, to at least some balance by surviving and, in turn, keep the God of Destruction alive so he would possibly be able to kill Armazon when woken up. To do this, all the other Supreme Kais and their attendants sealed him in a spear, akin to the Old Kai, to make sure that Armazon couldn't locate him.
