Hephary Poverty Solutions was a charity founded by Yossaia Hephary, founder and CEO of Hephary Beauty Solutions, in 137 ABY. Yossaia Hephary, well known in the Golden Empire for her wealth and often criticized in the media for her decadent lifestyle, founded HPS to combat accusations that she had amassed fantastic wealth and done nothing with it but pamper herself. The charity was dedicated to raising the standard of living on newly-admitted member worlds of the Empire through education and infrastructure support. Its volunteers and operatives often worked alongside the Educational Expansion Corps and the Royal Integration Corps; at other times it simply provided funds to these government bodies to purchase technology.
