Ayden's son, Tristan, is based on Edward Cullen from the Twilight series. Not only that, the feuding of werewolves vs vampires is similar to the Twilight series. The Wolff and the Van Gould family are very similar to that of the Capp and the Monty family from The Sims 2, both are families who are feuding and both have a member of the family who rebels against the feuding by dating a member from the other family.
