Reubin "Richard" Seifert (b. Nov 25, 1910, d. Oct 25 2001) was a Swiss-British architect, noted for his many commercial buildings in and around London. Seifert was widely regarded as one of the first "celebrity" architect of his generation, and was responsible for more buildings within Central London than Christopher Wren. Best known for Centre Point and the NatWest Tower, he also designed various high rise housing estates around the UK - notable examples being Sussex Heights in Brighton and the Anderston Centre in Glasgow.
