The Artifacts and Enchantments Regulatory Board is a department of the American Wizarding Confederation that monitors the magical use and charming of objects. It may be the American counterpart to the British Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office. The AERC maintains an office at the Central Territorial Headquarters building in Chicago, Illinois.
