The microsystem accelerator speeds up building construction with micro-computers that are able to process enormous amounts of data in order to calculate the optimal construction time. This data is sent to the construction robots to be used optimally. The Microsystem Accelerator, or MSA, halves building times with each upgraded level, the first level decreases building times to 1/2 the original, the second 1/4, the third 1/8, ect. The MSA also reduces the construction times of ships in the same manner, but does not affect research.
