The Galactic Empire Special Operations Command, colloquially known as the Imperial Special Operations Command (ISOC), was one of the fourteen uniformed services of the Imperial military, founded in 97 ABY. It was responsible for the training, equipment, organization, and command of all special operations forces of the Galactic Empire, and drew personnel from all three major branches of Imperial military service — the Imperial Army, the Imperial Navy, and Imperial Intelligence — to conduct special operations in both the denied and domestic battlespaces.
