King Dedede is totally upset at how Sonic runs at the speed of sound. He declares another car race between himself, Sonic, Meta Knight, and Kirby. At first, Amy forbids Sonic from signing up, because she planned to have a date with him on the day of the race. However, Tiff wants Kirby to be in that race, knowing that he can truly fly a starship on his own.
