He started in the comics industry in the late 1980s working on Speed Racer for Now Comics. In the early 1990s, he worked freelance for both Marvel and DC Comics doing various titles for each, including pencil art on DC's third Star Trek annual, "Homeworld". In 1993, he worked with Mike Saenz to create Donna Matrix, the first digital comic using 3D rendering for Digital Comics. He continued to work with comics and computer games, and began to move into interactive media. In 2007, he moved back to Montana where he continues to work as an illustrator and graphic designer.
