When Irish Republic came to be, he originally never joined an alliance and suffered from frequent tech raids from nations looking to recruit him. He never gave in and thankfully the raids didn't last long due to the help of a one of a kind recruiter, King Wally of the Nuclear Proliferation League. Irish Republic soon joined the alliance who offered protection, a community, and a chance to be a part of something great. For over a year in the Nuclear Proliferation League, he made many friends inside and outside of the alliance, taking part in many wars and joined with the rest of the ranks to help develop the alliance as best he could. This was undoubtedly the best year Irish Republic had spent in Cyber Nations.
