The Thatched Hut is a dwelling of the Farm town in Heroes of Might and Magic I. It generates 12 Peasants per week. This production rate can be bolstered by erecting the Well. The Thatched Hut costs 200 gold and requires on the Castle to be built; however, most towns begin with it all already constructed. The Thatched Hut is required in the further building of a town; only the Archery Range, the Well and the Tavern have the Hut as a prerequisite, but every single dwelling in the Farm town indirectly needs the Hut to be built beforehand.
