World 8 is the penultimate world in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the final one being World 9. World 8 consists of lava, volcanoes, dark clouds. Although the second to final world, this world is the final part and conclusion of the story in the game. Once finishing this world, the story is finished and World 9 is unlocked.
