The Joint Task Force was made up of members of the Union Fleet from 4009, and the Vanguard from 3009, as well as civilian elements who have joined together to serve on the ISS Tharsis. They were the only crew with a primarily military background. They were based out of Comorro Station. In early '09, they disbanded, mostly due to crew disciplinary reasons and lack of motivation. Many of their members went into civilian employment, though some went on with military organizations such as the Svajone Defence Force, and others with Comorro Security.
