Butterick 5633; ca. 1951; One-Piece Dress plus Button-on Scarf-Stole. A background type dress that can be worn by itself or with the separate scarf-stole that buttons on at the shoulders. Stole can be worn straight or criss-crossed in front. (A) Contrast stole. (B) Short sleeved dress only.(C) One fabric. Slim sheath dress with V neckline, dart fitted bodice, pleated skirt front, mid-calf length. Set-in Sleeves are short or three-quarter length with rolled cuffs. 3 buttons at each shoulder. Optional Scarf-Stole is tucked under a purchased belt and looks like a peplum at front.
