The Gavel Worm is a monster from Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. The Gavel Worm is a rare encounter on the Red Moon during the Lunarian's Tale. It knows strong attacks for a regular enemy, including Maelstrom. It otherwise is not difficult to beat if magic like Flare is used.
