Rhinacyria was a virus that could cause a fever, runny nose and itchy eyes. In 19 BBY, Mandalorian Mij Gilamar gave Doctor Ovolot Qail Uthan a few samples of rhinacyria virus. Uthan used the virus in her work to develop an antigen for the FG36, a deadly virus she created that was being used by Emperor Palpatine.
