Lewis Hogg is a midfielder who came through the Rovers youth system, breaking into the first team squad in the 1999-00 season. He didn't make any first team appearances in his first season as a pro, but became a regular in the Rovers midfield in his second year, and was given the club captaincy by boss Garry Thompson. He remained with the club until being released in the summer of 2003, whereupon he joined Conference side Barnet for half a season. In all, he played 74 league and 17 cup games for Rovers, scoring three times in the league and three in cup competition.
