Yakuza Princess is an anime that was written, directed, and created by Akira Jotaro who also created the anime King of the Red Moon, Swinging!, and Level Up!. The story is set in modern Japan in a small city not very far from Shinjuku named Shinkyo, where a single yakuza leader rules the most of the city. The story is about a high school transfer student from Odakyo who became friends with a girl who actually turns out to be the daughter of the yakuza leader.
