Ancient Arrows are items from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They are a type of specialty ammunition for the bows, and are created using Ancient Sheikah technology. If any non-boss or non-Guardian enemy is struck by one, they will be blasted into oblivion in an instant, without a trace. Against Guardians, Ancient Arrows deal particularly devastating damage, being crafted from the same technology. The Ancient Arrow was first introduced in the 2014 E3 trailer, where Link is shown readying an Ancient Arrow to his bow, ready to attack a pursuing Guardian.
