Teddy Hanlin was a sniper working for the Counter Terrorist Unit during Day 1. Hanlin held a grudge against Jack Bauer after Bauer arrested his partner, Seth Campbell, for taking bribes. Hanlin never forgave Jack for this. Bauer would later learn from the House Special Subcommittee that Hanlin was directly assigned to the mission by Alberta Green and Ryan Chappelle as a means of expressing their irritation at Bauer's being reinstated at CTU. After the events of the day, Hanlin was promoted. (Findings at CTU)
